(13 km away), Lesoba Guest Farm offers a true haven for nature lovers, hikers, and those seeking solace from the chaos of everyday life.

ACCOMMODATION:

  • Set against rolling grasslands and sandstone cliffs, our guest farm features a collection of six rustic, self-catering sandstone chalets perched beside a serene dam, a standalone cottage, two additional self-catering units, and two no-frills rooms with shared kitchen and ablution facilities for the more adventurous traveller.

    We have 10 x comfortable LOG CABINS (chalets) sleeping a maximum of 4 people.

HIKING TRAILS:

  • Explore FIVE distinct hiking trails from and back to base camp.

    Circular Day Trails of 10,14km, 3 x 6 km and 5 km

    • Trails lead to breath taking panoramic vistas across Lesotho, the Caledon River, and the expansive Fouriesburg valley.

    Although Lesoba is PET FRIENDLY- only small breeds are allowed on the trails

    • Along the way, uncover hidden treasures like ancient Bushman rock art,

    • the iconic Queen Victoria rock formation,

    • and even a dinosaur femur fossilized in time

HIKING TRAILS SUMMARY:

There is a network of circular trails to choose from

DAY 1: 10,4 km – follow WHITE markers – 6 hours. Mountain slopes, panoramic views of the Maluthi mountains, Caledon River, Lesotho, Fouriesburg, pass ruins and bushman paintings back to base camp

DAY 2: 6km – follow YELLOW markers – 4 hours. Popular trail. Mountains, ravines, stunning views
