AMA POOT POOT HIKING TRAILS:

2 Day hikes from and back to your accommodation:

• 13 km Reedbuck and a 6km Trout Trail will give you the best experience of hiking in the most beautiful settings in the Steenkamps Mountains.

• Hikers will pass 7 magic waterfalls and cascades and 8 trout dams with lots of opportunities to enjoy a “tea break”, swimming in rock pools and even enjoy game viewing.

• Experience the breathtaking beauty of nature as you embark on a journey through pastures, mountains and pristine landscapes.

• Our trail offers a mesmerizing adventure filled with stunning waterfalls that will leave you in awe with 3 different streams come together on the Ama Poot-Poot trail.

• This trail is super beautiful!

• One cool thing about it is a giant hole called the “Groot Gat” where you can swim and explore near the waterfall. This place is so peaceful, surrounded by nature.

• Highest point on the Ama Poot-Poot hiking trail is approximately 2000 meters above sea level.
