Galago Bush Lodge

Galago Private Bush Lodge is set in 17 hectare of pure bushveld just 16 km from Bela Bela(Warm Baths) on the R516, Thabazimbi road, only an hour from PTA and 1½ hours from JHB. A little gem in the heart of the Bushveld.

ACCOMMODATION:

The Lodge consists of four comfortable en-suite Chalets:

  • There are 2 x 2-bed chalets, 1 x 4-bed chalet, and 1 x 8-bed chalet with two rooms.

  • Each chalet has its own bathroom with a flush toilet, hand basin and shower with hot and cold water. Linen and towels are also provided.

  • All of the chalets are equipped with fridges, tea and coffee stations, ceiling fans and free-standing portable braai’s. We also have a family bathroom that contains a shower (hot and cold water), bathtub (hot and cold water), flush toilet and a hand basin.

  • There is a self-catering lapa, which has a bar counter, chest freezer, microwave, 4-plate gas stove, toaster, crockery, cutlery and all necessary cooking utensils for groups. It also includes a dining table and chairs with braai facilities.

  • There is a heated swimming pool, and paths through the bush to see the duikers, nyala, impalas and abundant bird life and internet access is also available

  • There is uncapped Internet Wi-Fi for your use.

  • Braai/Barbecue, Fireplace, On-site Parking

  • Family bathroom and Jacuzzi

THE CHALETS: (Self-catering units)

Njala: (4 Bed)

  • This room is ideal for a family. It has one double bed and two single beds. It has one bathroom to share with a shower. It has a small kitchen that is fully equipped and available for the next inhabitants.

Duiker: (2 Bed)

  • This room has one double bed and on suite bathroom. It is equipped with a small kitchen and is self catering.

(ALL 8-BED) each with 2 separate bedrooms upstairs (both rooms with two single beds) Then there are 2 extra sleeper coaches down stairs. There are 2 Bathrooms, lounge and fully equipped kitchen. Braai facilities outside.

Bushbuck: (2 Bed)

  • This unit has one double bed and an on suite bathroom with a shower. It also has a mini-fridge, braai facilities and coffee and tee facilities.

Impala: (8-10 Bed)

  • This is a two bedroom unit and is ideal for a family or group of friends. An extra sleeper couch is available for 2 more persons – double bed.

  • The rooms have two double beds and four single beds in total and can accommodate 8-10 people in total.(Room 1 with 1 x double bed 2 x single beds, room 2 with 1 x double bed, 2 x single beds).

  • The rooms share a bathroom and has a fully equipped kitchen. Gas stove, fridge/freezer, microwave, all cutlery and crockery.

  • 4 Exclusive standard size camping sites.

  • These sites do have their own private bathroom and a small kitchen.

  • The camping sites area has its own swimming pool and Lapa.

  • If you want to be on your own this is the location.
