MANABLOX GAME FARM

This stunning privately owned game farm is situated on the northern slopes of the spectacular Waterberg Mountain, Thabazimbi, + 3 and half hoursfrom Pretoria- and is approximately 60 km from the Thabazimbi.

The game farm of 1,450 hectares is completely fenced with high game fences to keep all our game (fauna and flora) safe and secure. A variety of game, more than 12 species, can be seen on the farm, like: Common Duiker, Kudu, Nyala, Giraffe, Zebra, Sable, Waterbok, Eland, Blouwildebees, Blesbok, Warthog, Steenbok, to name but a few. Our visitors and hikers can also enjoy 1,6km river front (Crocodile river) and there is a big dam for fishing. If you are an enthusiastic bird watcher, this is the place to be!!!

ACCOMMODATION:

The luxurious Bush Camp:

  • The Bush camp consists out of 2separate lodges:
  • 1) THOLO Lodge
  • 2) SAVUTI Lodge
  • Both lodges accommodate 11 persons each.
  • • Both can be booked separately for smaller individual groups or as one for one big family/ extended friends/ corporate/ hikers group.
  • • Both lodges are completely self-catering and have everything you may need, including: air conditioning, fridges, freezers, micro wave, toasters, kettles, mini oven/stoves etc.
  • • It also includes cutlery and crockery enough for a party of 22. Pots and pans with all needed utensils are available.
  • • Both lodges have own braai facilities/ boma/lapa, (Braai wood provided) safe parking aswell as a spectacular view on our wildlife.
  • • Both lodges have separate bedrooms, sleeping 2 – 4 persons each,
  • NB: Visitors need to bring their own towels.
  • • Both Lodges are self-catering, visitor need to clean, wash up everything themselves OR you can hire a cleaner @ R250.00 per day – arrange with owners in advance.

THOLO LODGE:

  • Here are three separate air conditioned rooms with own en suit bath rooms.
  • Rooms: All rooms have air condition.
  • Korabek: ​4 single beds,
  • Patrys: ​1 Double bed and 2 single beds;
  • Tarentaal: ​1 Double bed and 1 single bed.
  • There is an entertainment area extra with a pool table andjacuzi
  • There is an open plan, fully equipped lounge/ bar – kitchen area, a swimming pool and under roof braai facilities.DSTV and WIFI available
  • The outside bar has an extra fridge/ freezer and all braai facilities: braai grids, black iron cast potjies, tables and chairs.

SAVUTI LODGE:

  • Here are four separate air conditioned rooms with own en suit bath rooms.
  • Rooms: All rooms have air condition.
  • Room 1: 2 Single beds, ​Room 2: 3 Single beds,
  • Room 3: 3 Single beds and​Room 4: 3 Single beds.
  • Fully equipped kitchen and lounge area: (Cutlery, crockery, fridge, gas stove, micro wave, kettle and wash up area.
  • Braai bomaand under cover braai facilities, tables and chairs on a big stoop.
  • DSTV and WIFI.
  • RATES: Available on request only.
  • There is no per person rate for these two lodges.

CAMPING

  • with own tents can be arranged/ are allowed – ONLYif you are part of the booked guests/ groups and if all rooms are fully occupied by your group 1 – 11 persons.
  • A maximum of 6 extra “campers” only will be allowed. Must be arranged in advance.
  • R220.00 per person per night – bring all own camping gear, beds, mattresses, bedding, cutlery, crockery, towels, toilet paper etc.

ACTIVITIES

What can you do at Manablox?

  • 2 X Excellent, well maintained, clearly marked day circular trails of 10 and 7km.
  • 1 x Bird watching trail/ breakfast trail of 2 km.
  • Bring your mountain bikes and enjoy our dirt roads and trails.
  • Game viewing – book an exciting ride on our 4×4 game viewing vehicles. (9 – 12 persons per vehicle). Afield guide and vehicle available @ R700.00 per vehicle per day: game drives will take place 7:30-12:30 and again 14:00-16:00.
  • Night drives are can be booked @ R450.00 per vehicle (20:00-22:00).
  • Fishing – catch & release in one of 2 beautiful big dams.
  • Bird watching, more than 200 species identified already.
  • Lots of extraordinary photography possibilities: not only of our beautiful game but also our stunning sunsets, panoramic views, lush and pristine bushveld.
  • Enjoy our big clear open skies for star gazing at night while resting around a big camp fire.
  • Target Shooting can be arranged as an extra “team building” activity – must be booked with the owner in advance.
  • Our water is from 2 x bore holes. Bring your own bottled water!!
