They are our most private and secluded chalets.

Both chalets have the same lay out and amenities, 2 x separate bed rooms.

The main bedroom has a double bed and there are 3 x single beds in the second bedroom. Bedding provided. Bring own towels. There is one bathroom: Buffalo bath room has a bath,shower, toilet and hand basin. Rhino bath room has a shower, toilet and hand basin.

The chalets have fully equipped kitchens with a fridge, gas stove and microwave, cutlery, crockery etc.

A lounge area with a patio, terrace and a private boma/braai, facilities provided.

The Rhino Chalet is closest to the swimming pool.

These 2 chalets both have: 2 bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms with showers, toilets and hand basins.The main bedroom has a queen bed and second bedroom has 2 x single beds. (Bedding provided).

These units each hasits own kitchenettes:

(Stove and fridge) and small dining areas, BUT theyshare the communal boma/braai.

Rooms1 & 2 have 2 single beds each with an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and hand basin.(Bedding provided).

Rooms3 & 4 have 2 bunk beds each with an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and hand basin. Bedding provided).

These units share the communal kitchen and the communal boma/braai area.

A BREAKAGE & KEY DEPOSIT of R500 for each chalet (Buffalo, Rhino, Lion and Elephant) and R250 per Kudu room, is payable on arrival and will be refunded upon exit inspection.

There are 2 X clearly marked, well planned day circular trails of 13km and a 6km.

Both of them start at the lodge gate and have very scenic views – a pure enjoyment for any hiker. These trails are not too strenuous and will be enjoyed by all levels of hikers and children.

Please be alert at all times as some of the game also roams in the same camps of the trials.

This whole area is well known for a bird watchers paradise! Keen bird watchers will not be disappointed!! Over 200 species already identified.Bring your binoculars, bird lists and books!!!

Please enquire from management if you are permitted to do a self-drive game drive as it is not always possible due to our animals having babies etc.

Guests are not allowed in the buffalo camp unless during a guided game drive.

The lodge has a swimming pool for guests. Please note that children must be supervised at all times. No guards on duty.

Add more memories to your holiday with hammocks, picnic blankets and pillows are available to rent at the reception.

Picnic blanket, 4 pillows and tray hire @ R50 per day.

Hammocks for hire @ R20 per hammock per day.
