Set in the Marico area of the North West Province, near Zeerust, this beautiful private cottage offers our visitors not only a picture perfect “hide-away”  in a secluded, safe and private environment it also offers an opportunity for a relaxing weekend with up market accommodation in close proximity to the Groot Marico River.

VleiZijn Loop is a historical restored water mill with beautiful accommodation for only 2 persons and it is surrounded by the African bushveld, welcoming all guests with its rich natural atmosphere.

ACCOMMODATION

  • Accommodation in this quaint cottage is ideal for the nature lover who prefers peace and a bit of luxury and still be able to enjoy our beautiful hiking trails and other outdoor activities.
  • One advantage this venue has for visitors from Gauteng, is that it is close to home and if one travels via Magaliesburg, Derby and Koster, the road is toll free and it is only 200 km from Johannesburg and Pretoria.

FACILITIES

  • The Vlei Zijn Loop Cottage is a private, fully equipped, double storey cottage for one couple (2 persons) only. It is stylish furnished and has all the amenities one need for a perfect getaway.
  • There is electricity, the kitchen has a 2 plate gas stove, fridge/ freezer, basic cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery are provided.
  • Guest can have cozy meals at a dining table or on the deck outside with stunning views.
  • There is a “donkey boiler” / paraffin stove that provides not only a cozy atmosphere but also hot water for the bath room.
  • A build in braai can be used during cold winter months or when the summer rains catches you off guard or one can enjoy a braai and star gazing in the outside boma braai area.
  • Then going up stairs with easy walking and safe stairs, is a beautiful queen size bed bedroom with high quality linen included, side tables with lamps, a stylish old “riempies” bank (thong sofa) and a ladies vanity table with a mirror.
  • The en suit bath room has a hand basin, toilet and a shower in a bath tub.Towels are included.

  • RATES: All this for only R850.00 per night. (1 – 2 persons included).
